Do you want to learn to set stones? At this workshop you'll create a pendant with a bezel set cabochon. Everything, including a stone, will be available for you to use on the day to design your own unique pendant. Your tutor will give you ideas and the rest is up to you!
If you have a cabochon you'd like to use (must be round or oval with a flat back and no bigger than 10-12mm) please bring it along. If you don't have one, no problem, there will be a selection for you to choose from on the day including ruby, sapphire, labradorite, moonstone etc. The stones will be set after firing so if you do have one you want to use it doesn't have to be a fireable gemstone.
Venue: The Bead Hut, 50 Southview Road, Hockley, Essex.
Times: The course runs from 09.30 until approximately 16.30 (but may over-run slightly).
Lunch: Please bring your own but there'll be plenty of tea, coffee and soft drinks available.
